劈掛拳

劈掛拳古稱披掛拳，因多用掌，故而又稱劈掛掌，是典型的長擊遠打類的中國傳統拳種之一。劈掛拳亦名抹面拳，劈掛拳擅長中、遠距離克敵制勝，講究放長擊遠，它將中國武術“一寸長、一長強”的技擊理論發揮得淋漓盡致，對于技擊空間的控制，講究遠則長擊，近則抽打，可收可放，可長可短。

Pigua is a very cool form. It features big and explosive movements and long range power. It emphasizes striking with whipping motions and heavy hands and explosive release of inner energy. Its power is from the accelerational force of the arms which are often in rotation.
